Community Giving
Giving back to the
community is an important part of our business philosophy. We strive to partner
with non-profit organizations and other businesses in our community to educate
their supporters / employees / clients on the perils of identity theft. We
accomplish this by hosting Fundraiser
Shred Days, Free Shred Days,
"Big 10" Non-Profit Referral Programs, and
by our 50/50 Annual Recycling
Contribution.
FUNDRAISER SHRED DAYS
Are you a
non-profit organization looking for a fresh idea for a fundraiser? Like
the idea of recycling? What about getting money for free? Have a
RID DAY!
We are
committed to supporting non-profit organizations by providing Fundraiser
Shred Days (RID DAY) with all the proceeds
going to the target charity.
If you are a
licensed non-profit organization, we値l schedule a RID
DAY at your location for your donors and
supporters to shred their confidential and sensitive material. 100% of the
funds collected will be given to your organization. Our company will
absorb/donate 100% of our operating costs. All the shredded material will
be recycled.
What a great
service to offer your donors and supporters! We will shred their
confidential material and instead of paying for our services, they make a
donation to your
non-profit organization. Both you and your supporters benefit from the
shredding service provided at your RID DAY.
RID DAY is an event everyone can participate
in. There is no need to sort binders, magnetic
reels, VCR tapes, DVDs, CDs, computer hard drives or cell phones. They
can all be shredded along with paper.

"BIG 10" NON-PROFIT
REFERRAL PROGRAMS
Are you a
licensed non-profit organization looking for a new way to provide an ongoing
stream of revenue for your programs? Do you and your supporters like the
idea of recycling? Why not participate in our "Big 10" Non-Profit Referral Program!
When your
supporters need to have their confidential information shredded, at either
their business or home, tell them to call RID Services. We will not only
provide them with a secure and cost-effective shredding service, but we will
also donate a portion of their invoice back to you. They can be assured
that all the shredded material will be recycled.
Each and every
time (not just the first time) we perform a shredding service for one of
your supporters, 10% of the gross invoice will be donated back to your
non-profit organization each month.
Be sure your
supporters tell us you referred them and you値l be reaping the benefits for
years to come. This is a great way to create ongoing revenue for your
non-profit organization without incurring any costs. There is no limit to
the number of referrals.

50/50 ANNUAL RECYCLING
CONTRIBUTION
There are many
community programs and non-profit organizations in our area that strive each
day to make a difference in the lives of others. We are committed to
helping them succeed and achieve their goals.
Annually, we
donate 50% of our recycling revenue to one or more community programs or
non-profit organizations.
In 2006, we
provided the Northern California Achievement Center with a
check for $2,200. This organization strives
to make a difference in the lives of special needs children. We salute them
for their dedication and service to their community. We are honored to
assist them in their efforts.
You may be
asking yourself, why would a business be willing to give up so much of their
revenue? All of our shredded material is deposited at a certified recycling
center. Giving back 50% of the recycling revenue that we receive from them
is just another way that we choose to support worthy community programs and
non-profit organizations.
